What was Silk used for?

   Silk was worn on kings and queens. People painted on silk, and also used them for decoration. Some chinese silk paintings took hours to make which i think was a long time. They began raising silkworms to make these things around 6000 B.C. Sometimes they used it for silk scrolls.
