Was silk ever traded? Why and with Who?

  Yes, silk was traded, along with many other goods along the silk road. The silk road was  basically a big, long trading route. It was traded for goods and treasures because it had such a high value. It was traded along these routes to various outher countrys over many months and years. It was very important to silk because i think that you would get a lot of return for such high value.
