The silk road was a major part of silk trade. Because silk was carried along the silk road. But the silk road was not for increasing the demand of luxury items such as silk but silk was eventually traded through it. Silk was hard to get then because of that. So only the rich like persian nobility wore silk.
Wow good job Gianna!! Who was trading the silk? What were thay trading it for?
ReplyDeleteIt must have been something precious and valuable since silk was only foe kings, queens, and othe wealthy people who could afford having it.
